The municipal elections are fast approaching, and as a student (living) in Leeuwarden, this means you can also cast your vote! But voting is not always easy. What exactly does each party stand for? What are their main priorities for the coming years? And above all: what does that mean for you as a student?
Are you still undecided or do you have no idea who you want to vote for? Then come to the YoungSGL: municipal elections event on March 4! During this interactive evening, you will have the opportunity to listen to representatives of the five largest parties in Leeuwarden, hear their views, and ask questions yourself. This will give you a clear picture of the different visions and enable you to make a more informed choice when voting.
The event will take place on Wednesday, March 4, from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at De Beurs (Wirdumerdijk 34, Leeuwarden).
Admission is free, but registration is required.
The event will be held entirely in English, so that it is also accessible to international students in Leeuwarden.

De gemeenteraadsverkiezingen komen steeds dichterbij en als student (wonend) in Leeuwarden betekent dit dat jij ook jouw stem mag gaan uitbrengen! Maar stemmen is niet altijd even eenvoudig. Welke partij staat waar precies voor? Wat zijn hun belangrijkste speerpunten voor de komende jaren? En vooral: wat betekent dat concreet voor jou als student?
Ben je er nog niet helemaal uit of heb je eigenlijk nog geen idee op wie je wilt stemmen? Kom dan op 4 maart naar het YoungSGL: gemeenteraadsverkiezingen event! Tijdens deze interactieve avond krijg je de kans om te luisteren naar vertegenwoordigers van de vijf grootste partijen van Leeuwarden, hun standpunten te horen en zelf vragen te stellen. Zo krijg je een helder beeld van de verschillende visies en kun je een beter onderbouwde keuze maken bij het stemmen.
Het event vindt plaats op woensdag 4 maart, van 20.00 – 21.30 uur in De Beurs (Wirdumerdijk 34, Leeuwarden).
De toegang is gratis, maar aanmelden is verplicht.
Het evenement wordt volledig in het Engels gehouden, zodat het ook toegankelijk is voor internationale studenten in Leeuwarden.
